Proof of funds is one of the requirements for Canadian Immigrants from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to determine whether the applicants have sufficient funds to stay and live in Canada while supporting their family members.

Furthermore, this money does not include equity on properties and also it can not be borrowed from another person. IRCC officer will ask for proof of accessibility of this fund upon arrival in Canada.

Who needs to show proof of funds?!

Applicants who applied through Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) are required to prepare proof of funds for their application.
