Canadian government tends to give Permanent residency to more than 431,000 candidates in 2022, and to 447,000 and 451,000 candidates in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Around 56 percent of these immigrants will be chosen from economic class pathways such as Express Entry, the Provincial Nominee Program, and the Temporary to Permanent Residence (TR2PR) stream, in 2022, most of which will be through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
Express Entry admissions which have been cut in half for this year are aimed to return to normal admissions levels by 2024.
