Fees for all permanent residence applications will increase as of April 30.
In addition to the application fees, the $500 right of permanent residence fee may also be applicable to the applicants which will be refunded if an immigration application is declined.
This additional fee does not apply to:
- the dependent children
- sponsorship applications for adopted children
- protected persons, including humanitarian and compassionate applicants and convention refugees
The fees for permanent resident cards and permanent resident travel documents will remain the same without an increase.
